Grintex Aerospace Labs Bengaluru

Grintex's electronics laboratory is a small sized air conditioned electronics laboratory complied with ESD requirements to handle highly sensitive components/systems susceptible to electro static charge. The facility is specifically built to meet the minimum standards as required by Space industries.

Facility Build

• Lab is fully ESD floor tiled with copper strips.
• ESD ground scheme pattern to total laboratory using copper strips run all sides and independent ground isolation from Ground Power, maintaining difference in potential within in 2.0V.
• Air shower placed at entry to laboratory, ESD safe Aprons(imported lint free cloth-Blue & White color-Resistivity 105-109) , caps, ESD safe conductive Slippers(Resistivity 105-109), Footwear Tester, 2’x3’ Texwipe brand sticky mats, P/N Z203 surface resistivity meter etc
• 3 Nos. ESD Tables (Table top 900mmx1800mmx25mm thick) with ESD lamination top (10⁶ -10⁹) ,ESD safe chairs
• Wrist straps (imported) built in 1 Meg ohm resistor, ESD safe imported lint free gloves, conductive brushes
• Hakko FX -888 temperature controlled ESD safe soldering station with Hakko 8801 ESD iron, Hakko 106-05 Flush cutter for diameter 1.3mm
• AC ionizing blower(charge neutralizer), P/N ZE 107ESD continuous work station monitor, Smoke absorber
• Digital wire stripper (Hakko, Japan) ,Ideal strip master, Lam windows with tinted glasses and ESD safe blinds curtains, Display of ESD warning stickers
• Fully dust free environment and cleanliness better than 100000 class, temperature and humidity maintained within requisite specifications, UPS Power (6KVA),elegant false ceiling, special clean room lighting fixtures for lighting

Grintex is currently adding SMT capabilities for PCB components mounting , assembly, integration and testing towards manufacturing of Small and Nano-Satellites.
